Director of Catering & Conference – Full-Time
Directs and coordinates the management-related activities of all catering and conference business throughout the hotel. A Fortune 500 company in the Gallatin area, and one of the largest producers of containerboard and corrugated packaging products in the U.S., is seeking to fill the following positions on the shifts noted for each shift.  The company only operates during two (2) shifts—1st shift (7A-3P), and 3rd shift (10:30P-6:30A). Production Helper – 3 Openings—(2) on 1st Shift & (1) on 3rd Shift:

Responsibilities:  Duties include but are not limited to, cutting straps, removing dunnage, washing print plates, and assist in feeding material.  All activities associated with stacking material, including the ability to read and follow instructions on factory cards. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out-tag-out procedures. Monitor quality of product and report any issues. Assist the Operator, which includes the proper placement of load tags and bands. Responsible for safely operating the machine. May be required to stack parts up to 50 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours. Must be able to pre-employment background check and drug test.

Basic Qualifications:  High School Graduate or GED. Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Able to pass pre-employment background check and drug test. Must be able to sit, stoop, and bend. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Fulfillment Production Utility – 5 Openings—(1) on 1st Shift & (4) on 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:  Must read and follow specification (spec) book to accurately set up line, ensuring all needed materials, including but not limited to tape guns, strapper, bundler, crinkle machine, are present at the line in timely manner for efficient assembly.  Safely and efficiently operate forklift, and other power industrial equipment, to deliver product to line for production and assist in other areas as needed.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Must be qualified and able to obtain and maintain a company forklift license.  Have 6 months’ experience driving a forklift (preferably while in congested and fast paced production environment). Communicate with production on the placement of staging for lines, as well as communicate with clerks and crew members for staging and cycle counting.  Assist other forklift drivers with loading trailers and placing finished goods in proper location. Perform quality checks on incoming material, alerting appropriate personnel to any obvious defects of and ensure questionable units are be set aside for further inspection.  Must work on production line, as needed and work dictates. Assist with housekeeping duties and perform other duties as required and/or needed.  Comply with all work safety rules, company policies and procedures.

Converting Machine Operators – 3 Openings—both on 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:  All phases of setting up and operating machinery (flexo folder gluer, rotary die cutter). Set up, operate, and monitor machines to ensure proper quality, productivity output, and limit waste.  Act as the leader for the crew in training processes. Mount printing and cutting dies to cylinder/shaft.  Mix and adjust ink viscosity. Perform quality checks on each order.  Verify material based on customer requirements, prior to running.  Work with team to meet daily goals. Adhere to production schedule. Accurately record production data into computer daily.  Perform routing preventative maintenance and housekeeping. Knowledgeable in troubleshooting machinery. Follow all process and procedures in place with safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Candidates must have 2+ years’ experience as a machine operator.  Packaging or printing experience in Flexo Folder Gluer/Rotary Die Cutter. Comfortable working around large machinery. Strong safety background, good attendance record, be able to pass drug and background screening, and be an excellent team worker.

Assistant Operator – 4 Openings—(1) on 1st Shift & (3) on 3rd Shift

Responsibilities:  Work as part of a team in support of a manufacturing operation with a goal of increasing productivity; decreasing downtime and waste. Follow all company safety rules and lock-out tag-out procedures. Maintain shop and shop equipment per 5S Standards. Other duties as assigned. May be required to stack parts up to 30 lbs. for a period of up to 12 hours.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:  Be passionate about maintaining a safe work environment. Must be able to pass pre-employment background and drug test. Ability to sit, stoop, and bend. Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be willing to work closely on a day-to-day basis with other production personnel.
